The Saenger Theatre opened her doors on April 2, 1925. For 100 years, it’s been the heart of our great city, a place where stories come alive and memories are made. Now, the Friends of the Saenger is offering you this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to show future generations that you helped us celebrate the Saenger Birthday in style.
Historic Donation
During the entire year of 2025, all donors of $150 or more will have their name engraved on a permanent plaque that will be displayed in the Saenger main lobby like those shown here. The names on the plaque will be teared, with the larger donors listed first and with larger text.
Seat Sponsor - $1,000
- Your name will be placed on a seat in the Saenger Theatre. You get to pick an available seat.
- You will be listed as a Seat Sponsor on a permanent plaque displayed in the Saenger main lobby.
- You will be recognized as a Friend of the Saenger in the Saenger Playbill for the 2025-2026 Broadway Season
Headliner Sponsor - $500
- You will be listed as a Headliner Sponsor on a permanent plaque displayed in the Saenger main lobby.
- You will be recognized as a Friend of the Saenger in the Saenger Playbill for the 2025-2026 Broadway Season
Marque Sponsor - $150
- You will be listed as a Marque Sponsor on a permanent plaque displayed in the Saenger main lobby.

Private Receptions – Relax in our private Friends of the Saenger Room during Opening Performance Broadway show intermissions.
Donate to the General Fund
100% of all money donated to Friends of the Saenger is used to improve our beautiful theatre. There are no administration fees and no one on our board gets a salary or payment of any kind. Thank you for your donation.
Saenger Pipe Organ Fund
Friends of the Saenger continue to work toward the complete restoration and enhancement of The Great Saenger Pipe Organ, which was a part of the theater’s original construction in 1925. When finished, the pipe organ will rival any of the great theatre organs in the country, and the “Heartbeat of the Saenger” will be restored. Learn More
Sherri Hemminghaus Children's Fund
We’re growing the next generation of theater fans and performers! The Children’s Fund provides underprivileged children with the opportunity to experience Broadway shows, symphony concerts, and ballet performances. Founded in 2008, this fund honors Sherri Hemminghaus-Weeks in recognition of her 25 years of dedication to the Saenger. Learn More
